My Name is Yi,  I go by Arthur. I am called to serve you, or your child in your personal growth and well-being. 

My counseling approach is rooted in empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regards. I seek to create a nonjudgmental space for you to grow and discover yourself. When you feel overwhelmed by stress, relationship issues, and or many other challenges in life, I am here to walk along-side with you to discover ways to navigate these challenges based on your own goals and values at your own pace. 

I am also dedicated to serving children from 5-12 years old.  I seek to create a safe, accepting, and supportive environment where children can explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and grow emotionally. Whether your child is navigating challenges like anxiety, grief, or trauma, I am here to be with them, and to empower them in their journey of growth.

         您好，我的名字是张一，英文名叫Arthur。 我从小在北京市和周边地区长大。我于2017年来到美国开起了我的本硕连读之旅。我于2024年12月12日在德州浸信会大学（Dallas Baptist University）毕业获得本科及硕士学位。我曾经在Northwest Community Center 的 After School Program 帮助过难民家庭的孩子们完成功课，因此，我拥有了一些与儿童互动的经验。硕士在读期间，我有幸从2023年8月到2024年12月在Children First Counseling Center实习。在实习的过程中，我获取了一些对成年人，儿童，与青少年进行心理辅导的宝贵经验。

         我主要提供对青年人和青少年的普通话和英语心理辅导，会根据您或您的子女的偏好和需求来选择心理辅导所适用的语言。我的主要理论是个人中心疗法（person-centered therapy），及寻解聚焦疗法 （Solution-focused therapy）。在与来访的疗愈过程中，我寻求于在我们的咨询室中创建一个安全，被接受，和被理解的环境。在这样的一个健康环境下，与您联手努力攻破生活，事业，工作，和情感上的难关。

         此外，我提供对4-12岁儿童的心理辅导。我们的咨询中心有专设为儿童咨询所用的游戏室。我对儿童的心理辅导会专注在在游戏室的互动。在互动的过程中，咨询师会提供安全和支持的环境，使儿童来通过游戏的方式来实现自我表达和倾诉，促进身心成长，以及寻求克服生活中困难的秘诀。
