When people encounter adversity, we react and behave according to the experience that we have learned as we grow up. I believe every individual is, and will be, their own best advocate. It means that all of us are able to relearn things and make changes. In my career of being a counselor, I am learning more from my clients as they learn from me. I enjoy the relationships that are built during the therapeutic process and being a part of growth and positive change, and sincerely believe people have the ability to transform, to grow, and to become their best self.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Monica Coulter, LPC-S. I achieved my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at University of Pittsburgh. As a therapist and an advocate of clients with depression, anxiety, substance use/addiction issues, self-harm and suicidal ideation, low self-esteem, grief/trauma, and life adjustments/daily stressors, I am professional to assist clients who have been diagnosed with the mild to severe mental health issues to cope with their stressors.

To assist and benefit clients to heal, grow, and learn the skill sets that they need, I adopt the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to promote clients navigating progress and achieving their own goals. CBT is well known to be beneficial to a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and depression. I also address the evidence-based practice to provide professional and customized services to clients with various issues.
